About this event
UHN is hosting the first ever UHN Summer Seminar Series for high school students (grades 9-12) from underrepresented and racialized backgrounds. The Summer Seminar series will take place during July 27th, 28th, and 29th from 10am-1pm EST online over Zoom.
All UHN trainees are welcome to join and observe the seminar series to:
- Learn about research happening at UHN including talks on cancer, neuroscience, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Explore careers in healthcare and research including doctors, scientists, clinical research coordinators, lab technicians and more.
- Observe interactive activities on machine learning, innovation and science communication.
Trainees are welcome to observe any/all sessions of interest. We ask that all UHN trainees respectfully hold their questions and engagement until all high school students have had the opportunity first. UHN trainees will not be eligible to win prizes during the trivia sessions.
